General Changes

Let's kick things off with the core changes to gameplay and interface. A new League Migrations button has been added, enabling you to seamlessly transfer your character to parent leagues. The Strongbox mechanics have seen significant improvements, with reduced intervals between enemy waves and clearer distinctions between spawned and map-native mobs. A bug that previously hindered monster spawning has been squashed, and now, once all enemies are defeated, the fog clears, enhancing visibility. You'll also encounter Research Strongboxes more frequently.

Runes socketed in equipment can now be swapped out for new ones, offering greater flexibility in your build. Armor effectiveness has been boosted, providing better protection. Character level no longer restricts access to Expedition Vendors, though the rarity of equipment items still depends on the shop's level, ensuring a fair experience for all players. Minions that die too far from your character will now instantly respawn nearby, keeping your team intact. The level of Uncut Gems is now visible in the item name, making it easier to assess their value. Equipped Charms now display the remaining number of charges, helping you manage your resources better. Entering a map is safer, as monsters no longer spawn right at the entrance. Picking up items from the ground is now more convenient, even while your character is engaged in other actions.

The developers have also enhanced overall game performance, particularly in shadow-heavy areas, increased loading speeds, optimized boss fights and visual effects, and improved game behavior in The Ziggurat Encampment.

The Vine Arrow skill description has been updated to clarify that the projectile only hits enemies upon landing, ensuring players understand its mechanics. The Pain Offering skill has had its Aura tag removed, altering its interaction with other skills. Skills socketed in a Meta Gem can no longer gain energy, affecting build strategies. Lightning Bolt has been renamed to Greater Lightning Bolt to reflect its association with the unique amulet Choir of the Storm, and its damage mechanics have been adjusted for balance.

Monster Changes

Mobs from Essence Monoliths can no longer use their skills immediately, but this change significantly boosts their Toughness, making encounters more challenging. The hitboxes of certain bosses have been adjusted to better match their visual attack animations, improving fairness in combat. The spawn rate of some monsters has been reduced, and their energy shield has been re-evaluated and adjusted to enhance the map-clearing experience. Visual effects for many mobs have been improved, and their attacks have been modified. Over 40 changes have been made, none of which drastically alter gameplay, but collectively, they significantly enhance the overall game experience.

Endgame Changes

In version 0.1.1, players gain access to four new Tower Map areas, and the Lost Towers Map has been updated. The Arbiter of Ash boss fight now offers six attempts instead of one, acknowledging its difficulty. The Falling Flame Seed skill can no longer be interrupted, and the Flaming Gale skill can no longer be blocked, making these encounters more intense. The boss now focuses less on Minions and more on players. Map areas now feature checkpoints, ensuring you can encounter, defeat, and loot at least three Rare Monsters per map. The monster balance in several maps has been adjusted, with Untainted Paradise now boasting twice as many monsters. Some areas now contain more chests, and bosses appear more frequently (approximately once every four maps), though the chance of a Map Boss dropping a Waystone has been lowered.
