Fishing Horror Game Out Fishing Announced for PC

Developer Mūn Mūn Games has unveiled Out Fishing, a first-person fishing simulator that initially appears quite unassuming. Its very title evokes a sense of cozy, relaxed gameplay. And it is... during daylight hours. However, when night falls in the game, the experience transforms into a full-fledged horror adventure. It is currently in development for PC.

The studio describes the game as follows: "Explore a tranquil yet deeply unsettling wilderness. Pursue rare fish and uncover scattered fragments of a forgotten past. Time itself is your adversary, but the deeper you venture, the closer you come to the unsettling truth. Fish, sell your catch, upgrade your equipment, and fortify your camp—a fragile sanctuary where the boundary between memory and hallucination begins to dissolve."

A dynamic day and night cycle, paired with unpredictable weather, constantly alters the environment and the fish you can catch. Players can enhance their tools and master advanced fishing techniques, even upgrading to vehicles(!). Sustaining and expanding your personal camp is also crucial.
