Renowned for his gripping and stylish British crime dramas and gangster films—along with his two Sherlock Holmes movies featuring Robert Downey Jr.—filmmaker Guy Ritchie is now venturing into fresh territory. The recently unveiled trailer for his upcoming film, Fountain of Youth, offers a look at Ritchie’s foray into a world brimming with adventure, reminiscent of Indiana Jones and The Mummy.

John Krasinski and Natalie Portman star as estranged siblings Luke and Charlotte, who team up in search of the legendary Fountain of Youth. The preview also features Eiza González, Stanley Tucci, Domhnall Gleeson, Laz Alonso, and Arian Moayed—though not everyone appears to be on the same side.

The trailer reveals two rival factions vying for control of the fountain, and the stakes are high. Krasinski’s character describes the artifact as possessing “a power beyond any of our comprehension”—sparking a quest that spans “one story, five continents, dozens of cultures, and over a thousand years.” The battle promises to be intense, but that intensity sets the stage for the kind of thrilling action Ritchie is known to deliver.
