As one of the last bastions of hope, your mission is to recruit and train these formidable mecha girls to combat the menacing catastromechs and restore peace to Earth. This beginner's guide will illuminate the core game mechanics and various game modes designed to bolster your account's power and progression. Let's get started!
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Scarlet Girls
The essence of *Scarlet Girls* lies in its idle-based gameplay, perfect for players who prefer a more laid-back approach to gaming. The combat system is turn-based, with the sequence of actions determined by each character's Speed stat. A round concludes once all allies and enemies have taken their turns. You can deploy up to 5 characters in battle, and the game offers a convenient Quick Dispatch feature that automatically optimizes your lineup based on your strongest characters. Once set, you can sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the stunning animations accompanying each character's unique abilities.
Your characters, officially known as "Stellaris," come equipped with both active and passive abilities that they deploy autonomously in combat. Each skill has a cooldown period, reactivating after a set number of turns. Crafting a synergistic squad of mecha girls is crucial for overcoming your adversaries. Although the battles unfold in real-time, your role as a player is to strategize before the fight, focusing on the strength of your deployed characters and the composition of your team.
Each Stellaris is categorized into one of four classes, each with distinct roles and utilities:
- Paladins – Boast the highest armor stat, acting as frontline defenders to absorb enemy attacks and shield their teammates.
- Support – Equipped with healing and supportive abilities, these Stellaris provide essential utility from the backline.
- Devastator – Experts in heavy firepower, these Stellaris are designed to unleash devastating energy damage on foes.
- Assaulter – Skilled in close combat, these Stellaris wield bladed weapons to deliver lethal physical damage.
Echo – The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls
Recruiting Stellaris is facilitated through the game's gacha system, known as Echo. Stellaris come in various rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+. Higher rarity Stellaris possess superior base stats in Attack, Defense, and HP, along with more potent abilities that can significantly influence the outcome of battles when used strategically. At the game's global launch, the "Normal Echo" banner is the sole summoning option, offering R to SSR Stellaris. Players can use Echo tickets or Diamonds to summon on this banner, with an SSR character guaranteed within 40 summons. Each summon also awards 20 echo points, and accumulating 2000 points allows you to choose a random SSR character from four different elemental banners (excluding Nebula). You can track your progress on the right-hand side of the Echo system.
The probabilities for recruiting different rarities of Stellaris are as follows:
- R Stellaris – 19.979% chance per individual character
- SR Stellaris – 2.667% chance per individual character
- SSR Stellaris – 0.133% chance per individual character
- SSR+ Stellaris – 0.010% chance per individual character
