Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation's New Trailer Showcases Romance

Koei Tecmo has released a new trailer for Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation PRISM, a romance game expanding on their popular Dead or Alive fighting game franchise. Launching March 27th for PS5, PS4, and PC, a special global version with English text will be available in Asia.

The game features mini-games, character customization, and a vibrant tropical island setting. Developers promise numerous ways to build relationships with the heroines and immerse players in a romantic storyline. Venus Vacation PRISM offers a unique experience for Dead or Alive fans, diverging from the core fighting game while retaining the franchise's distinctive style.

However, even this venture has its limitations. Despite the seemingly paradoxical approach, the publisher of the Dead or Alive series annually removes approximately 200-300 doujinshi and 2,000-3,000 images of its characters. The Dead or Alive series is known for its gameplay and its attractive female characters, often depicted in swimwear during combat. This has led to significant fan-created "adult" content, a trend the developers actively combat despite the popularity of fan art.
