Cyberpunk 2077 got patch 2.21, added NVIDIA DLSS 4 and got even more technologically advanced

Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology and numerous bug fixes.

A key feature of this update is the integration of DLSS 4 support, granting GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card users a substantial performance boost with increased frame rates. This enhancement will be available from January 30th. DLSS 4 also improves frame generation speed on both RTX 50 and 40 series cards, while simultaneously reducing memory consumption.

Furthermore, all GeForce RTX graphics cards now offer a choice between the convolutional neural network and the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior image quality with enhanced lighting, detail, and stability.

This update also addresses several critical issues:

  • Resolved: A bug preventing interaction with certain vendors.
  • Resolved: Audio problems with TV news broadcasts (missing or low volume).
  • Resolved: Infrequent appearances of Johnny Silverhand in the passenger seat.
  • Resolved: Disappearing items when hiding nearby NPCs.
  • Resolved: Game freezes when simultaneously entering Photo Mode and accessing a closet or stash.
  • Enhanced: Photo Mode now allows placement of Nibbles and Adam Smasher even when V is in the air or water.
  • Improved: The functionality to alter Adam Smasher's facial expressions.
  • Resolved: Interference and crashes related to DLSS ray reconstruction. The "Frame Creation" parameter now functions correctly after disabling resolution scaling.

This update promises a smoother, more visually appealing, and less buggy Cyberpunk 2077 experience for players.
