Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the details!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held across three global cities in May and June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person attendees can experience unique city-specific features, merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges. Expect rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny rates, and more, similar to previous years.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January!

Beyond the Pokémon GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two additional events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over:

This event runs from January 15th, 12:00 pm to January 19th, 8:00 pm (local time). Highlights include:

• Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai, hatchable from 12 km Eggs.
• Increased encounters with Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig.
• A chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk during snapshots.

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh:

This event takes place on January 19th, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time). Features include:

• Five-Star Shadow Raids featuring Shadow Ho-Oh.
• A $5 USD ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids.
• Increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
• A chance to teach your captured Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
