Charlie Cox Confirms Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Filming Wraps
The future of Disney's Daredevil revival has become uncertain following a curious remark from series star Charlie Cox.
Speaking at GalaxyCon, Cox referred to the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again—scheduled for Disney+ in 2026—as the show's "final season," implying that despite years of anticipation for a revival, fans may only receive two seasons.
However, the situation may not be so definitive. Stealing Daredevil's spotlight once again, Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio has hinted that there is still hope for the series to continue—even if nothing is confirmed yet.
During a stage appearance at GalaxyCon (filmed and uploaded to TikTok by the event), Cox discussed his new Daredevil suit and referred to the second season of Born Again as the show's last outing.
"In this final season, we're introducing something that doesn't exist in the comics, making it unique to our show," Cox stated.
Seeking clarification, fans shared his comment with Wilson Fisk actor Vincent D'Onofrio, who responded this morning via X with: "Good chance there will be a third."

Daredevil: Born Again has been one of the most anticipated Marvel series on Disney+, with Charlie Cox's portrayal of Daredevil remaining a favorite among dedicated fans. Still, it remains unclear how well the first season resonated with broader audiences.
Much like Matt Murdock himself, the series has grappled with its identity, evolving into a hybrid between Marvel's initial plans for a fresh introduction and later additions that tied it more closely to the original Netflix Daredevil series.
The upcoming second season—now potentially its last—will be the first written from the outset with its Netflix backstory firmly in mind, including the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. At the very least, D'Onofrio's remark offers hope for more—though much may depend on how next year's episodes are received.
