Zenless Zone Zero Revenue Soars with Hoshimi Miyabi Debut
HoYoverse's mobile hit, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market performance. The recent 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall Came," propelled the game to a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily mobile player spending, surpassing even its launch day revenue in July 2024.
AppMagic data reveals Zenless Zone Zero's cumulative mobile revenue has already exceeded $265 million. Update 1.4's success is attributed to the introduction of new characters, Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter offered free to all players as a promotional incentive), alongside enhanced gameplay mechanics, new environments, and game modes. The Hoshimi Miyabi character banner was particularly impactful on revenue generation.

Remarkably, the 1.4 update sustained player engagement far beyond typical post-update trends. Daily revenue remained above $1 million for over 11 consecutive days and held steady above $500,000 even after two weeks. This extended period of high spending is a significant achievement for the title.
While undeniably successful, Zenless Zone Zero still trails behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, in terms of overall revenue.
