World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. Get ready for a non-stop journey through WoW's history, earning fantastic rewards along the way.

This extended event builds upon the success of the initial Turbulent Timeways event in September 2023. Players can once again amass Timewarped Badges, enjoy a significant experience buff, and chase after coveted achievements. The core gameplay remains the same: conquer Timewalking dungeons to earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, culminating in a substantial 20% experience boost after completing four dungeons.

The Big Prize: Timely Buzzbee Mount

This time around, the stakes are higher. Achieve Mastery of Timeways for at least five out of the seven weeks, and you'll unlock the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, rewarding you with the highly sought-after Timely Buzzbee mount.

Beyond the mount, Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Players who missed the Sandy Shalewing pet from the previous event will also have a chance to acquire it. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest during Turbulent Timeways will yield Heroic-level gear from the Cache of Nerubian Treasures.

Looking Ahead:

With the recent 20th-anniversary event already featuring 11 weeks of Timewalking, this event extends the Timewalking spree to a remarkable 18 consecutive weeks! The Turbulent Timeways' conclusion on February 24th also hints at future plans. Given WoW's typical release schedule, this strongly suggests that Patch 11.1, "Undermined," is likely to launch on February 25th, approximately 10 weeks after Patch 11.0.7.
