War Thunder is Dropping Its Firebirds Update With New Aircraft Soon!

Gaijin Entertainment's upcoming War Thunder update, "Firebirds," promises a thrilling array of new aircraft and vehicles, arriving in early November. This substantial update introduces iconic military aviation assets, significantly expanding gameplay options.

New Aircraft in War Thunder's Firebirds Update:

The update boasts a diverse selection of aircraft, including the groundbreaking American F-117A Nighthawk stealth attack aircraft—a first for War Thunder. Its unique design, incorporating radar-absorbing materials and clever angles to deflect radar waves, made it a near-invisible force during Operation Desert Storm, completing over 1,200 combat sorties without a single loss.

Also joining the fray is the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber and the formidable F-15E Strike Eagle. The F-15E, an enhanced variant of the classic F-15, boasts a 50% larger payload capacity than its predecessor. Equipped with advanced ground target detection radar, it offers a devastating arsenal, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (capable of deploying 20 at once).

Beyond the Skies: Ground and Naval Additions:

The "Firebirds" update isn't limited to aircraft. Ground forces receive reinforcements with the addition of the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the powerful French Dunkerque battleship.

Aces High Season and Battle Pass:

The new Aces High season is concurrently underway, offering players the chance to unlock exclusive vehicles, trophies, and rewards through season completion and Battle Pass progression. Rewards include aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11; formidable platoons like the T54E2 and G6; and ships such as the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
