The cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.* offers a thrilling, physics-based retrieval experience for up to six players. In *R.E.P.O.*, you and your team must navigate through various maps, locate valuables, and successfully extract them. To ensure your efforts are not in vain, it's crucial to understand how to save your game properly.

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

One of the most disheartening experiences for gamers is discovering that their latest progress hasn't been saved. This can be particularly challenging with new games where autosaves might not be as prevalent, and specific conditions or locations might be required to save your progress safely. It's easy to overlook the tutorial on saving, and sometimes, the instructions aren't clear from the start.

When playing *R.E.P.O.*, it's essential to remember that you must complete the level you're currently on for the game to autosave. There's no manual save option available. If you quit during a retrieval mission or if you die (which sends you to the Disposal Arena), your progress will be lost, and you'll need to start that level over from the beginning. Upon dying in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is deleted, and exiting mid-level means you'll have to restart that level.

To save your game, you need to finish a level by delivering your valuables to the Extraction Point, then enter or return to the truck. Press and hold the message button above your head to signal to the AI boss, the Taxman, that it's time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop for supplies, and once ready, use the same button to proceed to the next level.

After leaving the Service Station, you'll reach your next location. At this point, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if another player created the original save file) relaunch the game, you can resume playing *R.E.P.O.* as usual. It's important to note that the host, if there is one, is responsible for exiting at the appropriate time to ensure the game saves correctly. Once the host quits, all other players will be logged out.
