Switch 2 Launch Date Revealed in Nintendo Direct

The Nintendo Switch 2 finally has an official launch date: June 5, 2025.
Nintendo also revealed the starting price for the Switch 2 at $449.99.

Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle will retail for $499.99 in the US, including the console and a digital download code for Mario Kart World available from launch day.
Mario Kart World standalone pricing has increased to $79.99, marking a $10 premium over Nintendo's previous highest-priced Switch title.
"Nintendo Switch 2 represents the evolution of hybrid gaming, building on eight years of innovation since the original Switch," stated Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa.
"With groundbreaking new features that redefine gaming experiences, we're confident the Switch 2 will continue our mission of bringing joy to players worldwide."
