Season 4 Pass Revealed

Arc System Works is bringing the heat to Guilty Gear Strive with Season 4, starting with a dynamic new 3v3 Team Mode. In this format, six players battle in coordinated team matches, increasing the strategic depth and offering creative character synergies. Season 4 also welcomes back fan-favorites Dizzy and Venom from Guilty Gear X, alongside Unika from the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive -Dual Rulers- and Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

With a fresh team battle option, new roster additions, and an exciting crossover, Season 4 promises to deliver engaging gameplay twists that will delight both newcomers and veteran players.

Introducing the 3v3 Team Mode

The 3v3 Team Mode is a headline feature in Guilty Gear Strive's Season 4, pitting two three-player teams against each other in combat. This format encourages players to leverage their characters’ strengths and offset weaknesses, fostering more tactical engagements and matchup strategy. Additionally, Season 4 introduces "Break-Ins"—unique super moves for each character that can only be activated once per match.

The 3v3 Team Mode is now available in Open Beta, giving players a chance to experience and provide valuable feedback on this new addition.

New and Returning Characters

Queen Dizzy

Returning from Guilty Gear X, Dizzy rejoins the fight with a regal redesign, hinting at intriguing developments in the ongoing story. As a versatile combatant, Queen Dizzy blends zoning and close-range techniques, adapting fluidly to her opponent's approach. She is scheduled to release in October 2024.

Venom

Venom, the master of billiard-based combat, also makes his return from Guilty Gear X. He introduces a unique layer of strategy by deploying billiard balls to control space and pressure opponents. Venom's precision and setup-heavy style make him a demanding yet deeply rewarding choice for tactical players. He is expected to arrive in early 2025.

Unika

Unika is a newcomer joining the roster from the upcoming anime adaptation, Guilty Gear Strive -Dual Rulers-. She is slated for release in 2025.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Crossover—Lucy Joins the Fight

A major highlight of the Season 4 Pass is Lucy, who marks the first guest character ever in Guilty Gear Strive. This isn't the first crossover from CD Projekt Red—the studio behind Cyberpunk 2077—as Geralt from The Witcher previously appeared in Soul Calibur VI.

Lucy is anticipated to be a technical fighter, and fans are eager to see how her cybernetic augmentations and netrunning abilities translate into Guilty Gear's fast-paced combat. She is set to arrive in 2025.
