A new Mass Outbreak event is underway in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, celebrating the Year of the Snake! This limited-time event boosts the appearance rate of Silicobra, Ekans, and Seviper, significantly increasing the chances of encountering their Shiny variants.

This Snakelike Mass Outbreak runs from January 9th to January 12th, offering players a weekend to catch these Pokémon in abundance. Silicobra will appear across Paldea, Ekans in Kitakami, and Seviper in the Terarium. Their levels will vary (10-65) depending on the player's game progress. To participate, connect to the internet, access the Poke Portal via the in-game menu, and select "Get Poke Portal News."

Event Highlights:

• Increased Shiny Odds: The Shiny rate for Silicobra, Ekans, and Seviper is boosted by 0.5% before any additional multipliers are applied. Shiny Sandwiches can further enhance these odds. Use a Salty or Spicy Herba Mystica with a Green Bell Pepper for Ekans and Seviper, and a Ham instead of the pepper for Silicobra.
• Pokémon Locations: Silicobra (all Paldea), Ekans (Kitakami), Seviper (Terarium).
• Level Range: 10-65, based on in-game progression.
