Nintendo Finally Announces Next Console: a LEGO Gameboy
Nintendo's Latest Announcement: A LEGO Game Boy!
Nintendo and LEGO have teamed up again, this time creating a LEGO Game Boy! Launching October 2025, this follows the successful LEGO NES release.
While exciting for fans of both brands, the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) sparked a flurry of speculation about the Nintendo Switch 2. Many joked that the LEGO Game Boy was the "new console" reveal, highlighting the anticipation surrounding the Switch successor.
Although details on the Switch 2 remain scarce, Nintendo President Furukawa's May 7, 2024 statement promised a reveal before the end of their fiscal year (March). The wait continues!
Pricing for the LEGO Game Boy hasn't been disclosed, but further information is expected soon.
