Monster Hunter Now gears up for the New Year with limited-time quests and higher monster rates

Get ready for the Monster Hunter Now Holiday Extravaganza! A week before Christmas, and right before the end of 2024, Niantic is launching a special in-game celebration. The annual Happy Hunting New Year event starts December 23rd, offering year-end deals and exclusive rewards to cap off the year in style.

Limited-time quests are available until December 31st, rewarding players with Palisnow to exchange for event-exclusive items like a festive Lagombi Christmas Sweater layered equipment. You'll also find the Happy Hunting New Year 2025 Medal and a Final Hunt 2024 guild card background. Boost your chances of obtaining valuable armour skills like Critical Boost and Fire Attack by hunting rare monsters such as Gold Rathian, Black Diablos, and Coral Pukei-Pukei for Mysterious Driftstones.

Ring in the New Year with increased appearance rates for Deviljho, Zinogre, and Rajang, starting January 1st and lasting until January 5th. Snag the First Hunt 2025 guild card background during this boosted encounter period.
