Marvel Rivals Reveals New Stats and Most Picked Heroes

Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Hero Data Revealed

NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. This data covers pick rates and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console.

The data reveals a clear favorite in Quickplay: Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme as the most frequently selected hero. However, win rate tells a different story. Mantis, a Strategist-class character, boasts the highest win rate across all game modes and platforms, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

Competitive play shows a platform-specific preference: Cloak & Dagger leads on consoles, while Luna Snow dominates on PC.

Here's a breakdown of the most picked heroes:

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay, 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to player feedback regarding her underpowered damage and frustrating gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in the upcoming Season 1, potentially altering her standing considerably.

Season 1, launching January 10th, introduces the Fantastic Four (Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman initially, with The Human Torch and The Thing following later), promising to shake up the meta and likely impact these statistics significantly. The upcoming balance changes, particularly the buffs to Storm, will be key factors in reshaping the competitive landscape.
