How to Knock Out Enemies in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, sometimes a subtle approach is preferable to all-out combat. This guide explains how to incapacitate enemies without killing them.
Knocking Out Enemies
Leaving a trail of corpses isn't always the best strategy. Knocking out enemies offers a less violent alternative. Here's how:
- Crouch: Press the circle button to crouch and stealthily approach an NPC from behind.
- Knockout Prompt: A "Knock Out" prompt will appear in the bottom right corner when you're close enough. Press the corresponding button.
- Successful Knockout: A blue icon with swords will appear. Press R2 to execute the knockout.
- Struggle Mitigation: If Henry fails the initial attempt and the NPC struggles (indicated by a shield icon), press L2 to prevent escape and try again.
- Failure: Failing both attempts will likely lead to a fight.
Success depends on the NPC's strength and Henry's strength stat. The following perks improve knockout chances:
- Tight Grip: Increases knockout success rate.
- Sandman: Increases knockout success rate.
Stealth Kills
For a more lethal stealth approach, equip a dagger. The process is similar to knocking out: sneak up from behind, and a stealth kill prompt will appear if a dagger is equipped.
