Honkai: Star Rail\'s newest expansion arrives the middle of this month, with a new planet and more

Honkai: Star Rail's next major update arrives January 15th, introducing a thrilling new adventure!

Prepare for the launch of a new chapter, taking players to the enigmatic planet Amphoreus. This expansion, spanning versions 3.0 to 3.7, is touted by MiHoYo as the most extensive yet in Honkai: Star Rail.

The Astral Express, needing to refuel, lands on Amphoreus, a planet shrouded in mystery and a chaotic vortex, making external study impossible. Its inhabitants are largely unaware of the wider universe, promising a unique and challenging exploration experience.

Unraveling the Enigmas of Amphoreus

This update introduces three new playable characters: Herta, Aglaea, and the Remembrance Trailblazer. Familiar faces will also return throughout the expansion, including the limited five-star characters Lingsha Feixiao and Jade in the first half, and Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf in the second.

MiHoYo's commitment to Honkai: Star Rail is evident, especially following the successful launch of Zenless Zone Zero last year. The Hoyoverse is clearly focused on making each of its titles a standout experience.
