New Heroes and Skill Set Overhaul
Valve's Deadlock, a highly anticipated MOBA shooter, has consistently topped Steam's Most Wishlisted games since its mid-2024 launch. The recent major update introduces six new playable heroes, currently exclusive to the Hero Sandbox mode. These heroes—Calico, Fathom (previously known as Slork), Holliday (also referred to as Astro in-game), Magician, Viper, and Wrecker—are not yet available in standard PvP matches. While their skill sets are complete, some abilities are temporary duplicates from existing heroes (e.g., Magician's ultimate mirrors Paradox's).
