Disco Elysium Launches on Android with 360-Degree View

Disco Elysium will launch on mobile devices this summer, but exclusively for Android. The game has been a beloved title since its original release in 2019. Created by an independent studio, it’s a psychological RPG blending detective investigation, inner conflict, and a deeply poetic dialogue system.

The Android adaptation of Disco Elysium is being positioned as a fresh reimagining of the classic. According to Denis Havel, the studio lead overseeing the launch, the goal is to engage TikTok users through short, immersive glimpses that showcase the game’s powerful narrative, striking visuals, and atmospheric soundtrack.

Despite these updates, the team remains committed to preserving the core of the original—offering the same rich, story-driven experience ZA/UM is known for. The studio has shared a dedicated Android launch trailer for Disco Elysium, which you can watch below.

Disco Elysium Opens Pre-Registration on Android

The Android version is scheduled for a summer release, and pre-registration is now available. Players can enjoy the first two chapters free of charge, with a one-time purchase unlocking the remaining story content and removing all advertisements.

Disco Elysium’s distinctive hand-painted art style has been further refined for mobile, and now includes a 360-degree scene exploration feature. The game also benefits from full voice acting—an important feature given its heavy reliance on dialogue and character interaction.

If you haven’t experienced Disco Elysium on PC, you can now pre-register via the Google Play Store and dive in when it arrives. In this detective RPG, you’ll work to solve a complex murder case through branching dialogue choices and decisions that directly influence the story.

Character progression is handled in a truly unique way: each skill acts as an internal voice guiding your actions. You can further personalize your detective through clothing and the Thought Cabinet—a system that lets you nurture and develop different ideologies as you play.
