Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Chaos Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a cosmic upgrade! Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a galaxy of changes, including a revamped minion lineup, new mechanics, and three brand-new heroes.

Technotavern Overhaul & New Tokens:

Bob's Technotavern is getting a major overhaul! Season 9 resets ratings and eliminates Trinkets, replacing them with Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens allow you to reroll your hero selection at the start of a match, offering a chance at a more favorable hero.

Minion Reveal Schedule:

• November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.

New Heroes and Minion Pool Changes:

Three new heroes join the fray, with Farseer Nobundo already generating excitement. Prepare for a significant shake-up: nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are rotating in and out of the pools.

Solo Battlegrounds Damage Cap Adjustment:

A new damage cap is introduced for solo Battlegrounds: 5 damage in the early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. This cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

Minion Pool Rollout:

• December 3rd: Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs enter the pool.
• December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the fray.
• December 9th: Undead and Elementals complete the update.
