Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: PC Specs Unveiled

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC Specs Demand High-End Hardware for 4K

Square Enix has released updated PC specifications for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, highlighting the need for powerful hardware, especially for 4K resolution. Two weeks before the PC launch, the updated requirements emphasize a high-end graphics card with 12-16GB VRAM for optimal 4K gameplay.

The game will leverage DLSS upscaling, ShaderModel 6.6, and DirectX 12 Ultimate. This follows a PS5 Pro enhancement patch released in November, optimizing the game for Sony's upgraded console. Unlike Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rebirth will not receive any DLC, as Square Enix focuses on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3.

Revised PC specifications clarify the need for 12-16GB VRAM for 4K resolution, alongside a 64-bit Windows 10/11 OS, 155GB SSD storage, and 16GB RAM. Recommended CPU options include the Ryzen 5 5600 or higher, while GPU requirements specify an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent (with ShaderModel 6.6 support and DirectX 12 Ultimate). Higher-end GPUs (like the RTX 4080) are recommended for ultra settings at 4K.
