Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th

The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. This initial beta, scheduled for February 2025, will however, be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. While targeting a full release in 2025, this limited network test allows players a sneak peek.

Registration Details:

The network test is expected to have limited participant slots. To register:

1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign website starting January 10th.
2. Complete the registration process, specifying your chosen platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
3. Await confirmation via email. Successful applicants will receive confirmation no later than February 2025.
4. Participate in the network test during February 2025. Exact dates will be revealed soon.

Platform and Gameplay Limitations:

This beta's exclusivity to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S represents less than half of the game's planned platforms (also including PS4, Xbox One, and PC). Cross-platform play is not supported in Elden Ring Nightreign, impacting the network test as well. Progress made during the beta is not expected to carry over to the full game. Further betas are possible, but unconfirmed.

The game itself will feature solo or three-player parties only; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will include any additional gameplay restrictions remains to be seen.
