How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
E.R.P.O. is constantly evolving with new monsters, so bookmark this page for the latest updates and strategies. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to tackle each monster. While each has its own unique approach, you can also use various weapons to combat them:
Melee Combat: From the Machete to the Hammer, these weapons are available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. They'll appear in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and used to swing at monsters. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ a hit-and-run tactic to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee engagements.
Grenades and Mines: Also purchasable in the shop, Grenades and Mines are powerful tools. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and throw it or leave it to explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly harming tougher ones. Mines require placement and patience, waiting for the monster to trigger them.
Monster Brawl: Cleverly, you can manipulate monster behavior. For instance, bait a Huntsman to shoot another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise through walking or voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations for mutual damage.
Robe Guide (Ghost)
The Robe, a shadowy figure, is dangerous upon contact. To evade it, crouch and hide or keep kiting it around. For a more direct approach, lure it into two Grenades or Mines. Melee combat is not advised due to Robe's high damage output. Be aware, it teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide
The Reaper, a doll-like creature with spinning sword arms, can be kited or avoided similarly to the Robe but without the teleportation. It's more susceptible to melee attacks, requiring just one grenade and a few hits to defeat. Grenades and mines also stun it, making it easier to finish off.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)
These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked. Once enraged, they relentlessly pursue you, dealing minimal damage. Outrunning them is your best strategy, though melee weapons can dispatch them quickly. Using grenades is overkill given their low health.
Huntsman
The Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you with his gun. He relies on sound, triggered by voice chat or fast movement. To survive, crouch and hide under tables. Avoid melee combat due to his auto-aim. Instead, strategically place mines or throw grenades while crouched to stun him for 6 seconds, allowing a safe window for melee attacks.
