Current Affairs Clicker debuts: Journey through global events with 'Go Lick the World'

It's a tough job preventing politicians from uttering gaffes. Take President Biden's infamous "go lick the world" comment, for instance – a moment that likely caused widespread cringing among White House staff. This inspired Pixel Play's new game, Go Lick The World, a satirical casual clicker that cleverly blends the absurdity of current events with addictive gameplay.

The objective? Virtually lick the world as fast as possible (finger-licking recommended!). Tap the rotating 3D Earth, accumulating points and aiming for leaderboard supremacy. Boost your score by tapping orbiting objects like LickLink satellites (a nod to Starlink), F-35 jets, electric cars, and even Lick Force One, President Biden's plane.

Earth itself features humorous landmarks: the White House, Antarctica, the pyramids, and a less-than-pristine San Francisco. The game's quirky charm extends to daily rotating items: Impeach-Mints (Mondays), tacos (Tuesdays), Swifties (Saturdays), and pizza slices (a Pizzagate reference).

Unlockable Earth skins and accessories add another layer of fun, including a "clown world" face, various hats (trucker hats, Uncle Sam, a Texas cowboy hat with a censored border sign), solar eclipse glasses, and more. These are earned through rewarded ads, with a recent "Great Debate Update" adding a certain prominent figure's iconic hairstyle.

Go Lick The World is free to download, with optional in-app purchases to remove ads, enable automatic clicking (via "LickGPT"), and get a blue profile tick. Download it now on the App Store and Google Play Store.

UPDATE: The Great Debate Update includes trucker hats representing both political sides and, notably, Trump's hair.
