Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta Testing Dates Confirmed

Get ready for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta! Activision's official podcast revealed a two-part beta test schedule.

Beta Access:

The early access beta runs from August 30th to September 4th, exclusively for those who pre-ordered Black Ops 6 or have active subscriptions to select Game Pass plans. Open beta follows from September 6th to 9th, open to all players.

Black Ops 6 launches October 25th, 2024, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Gameplay Enhancements:

Treyarch's associate director of design, Matt Scronce, shared exciting details:

• Multiplayer Maps: 16 maps at launch – 12 standard 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps playable in 6v6 or 2v2 modes.
• Zombies Mode Returns: Two new maps join the popular Zombies mode.
• Omnimovement: A new movement mechanic is introduced.
• Scorestreaks Restored: The traditional scorestreak system returns, resetting upon player elimination.
• Dedicated Melee Weapon Slot: Carry a melee weapon without sacrificing a secondary weapon.

A full multiplayer reveal is scheduled for the Call of Duty Next event on August 28th. Mark your calendars!
