Xbox Game Pass January 2025: New Games and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled the first wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing departures. The lineup includes a mix of genres and access tiers, ensuring variety for subscribers.

New Arrivals: Seven games are joining the service this month. Road 96 is already available (January 7th) across all tiers. The remaining six titles arrive later in January: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills launch on January 8th, while UFC 5 and Diablo debut on January 14th. Note that Diablo is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate-only title.

Departures: Six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.

Perks: New Game Pass Ultimate perks are also available, including a weapon charm for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

This initial January lineup sets a strong pace for 2025. Further announcements for the latter half of the month and beyond are expected soon.
