Waves of Nightmares: Echoes Across Wuthering Grounds
Quick Links
Nightmare Echoes are enhanced versions of existing Echoes in Wuthering Waves, significantly impacting Resonator usage. Superior to their standard counterparts, acquiring a Nightmare Echo is crucial for maximizing character potential. The acquisition process is straightforward, though defeating the Overlords that drop them can be challenging depending on team strength. This guide explains Nightmare Echoes and their acquisition.
What are Nightmare Echoes?
Nightmare Echoes are alternative variants of standard 4-cost (Overlord-class) Echoes. They boast unique active skills and a percentage-based elemental damage boost, making them inherently more valuable than regular Echoes. This passive elemental damage bonus allows them to replace a 3-cost Echo, enabling a 441111 Echo composition.
Importantly, Nightmare Echoes retain the Sonata/Set effects of their regular counterparts, minimizing build adjustments.
