This free-to-play 5v5 hero shooter, which initially launched on PC via Steam on March 6, had its console versions delayed due to last-minute optimization needs. The upcoming release promises cross-play functionality, allowing seamless gaming across all platforms.

⚫︎ On March 18, FragPunk rolled out a significant balance update without any server downtime. This update features increased overall movement speed, optimized footstep audio effects, and crucial weapon and Lancer ability balancing. To enhance anti-cheat measures, the “Hide your name” option has been disabled. Additionally, various gameplay and UI bugs have been fixed, ensuring a smoother experience for all players.

⚫︎ Bad Guitar, the developer behind FragPunk, announced a delay in the game's console release due to "unexpected technical challenges in optimization and adaptation." These issues surfaced during compliance testing for the Xbox and PlayStation versions, leading to a postponement to guarantee a consistent experience across all platforms.
