Pokemon Go will soon kick off Mega Gallade Raid Day in time for the new year

Get ready for some Pokémon Go action! Mega Gallade is making its raid debut on January 11th, and that means a special Raid Day is on the horizon. There's a chance to snag a Shiny Gallade – if you're lucky!

The holiday season is busy, but don't forget to squeeze in some Pokémon hunting. This Raid Day offers exciting bonuses, including an increased Remote Raid Pass limit from January 10th to 11th. You can also get up to five extra free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, and there's a boosted Shiny Gallade encounter rate in Mega Raids.

For a little extra boost, a $5 Event Ticket nets you eight additional Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, a higher chance of Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles, a 50% XP bonus, and double Stardust from Raid Battles.

A Mega Gallade Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will also be available for $4.99 (or local equivalent) in the Pokémon Go Web Store.
