For those yet to complete *Lies of P*, be assured that this article provides a spoiler-free glimpse into what's next.

The final cutscene of *Lies of P* hints at intriguing future directions for the game's universe. This scene has sparked considerable speculation among fans regarding its implications and potential connections to the upcoming DLC. Neowiz has already confirmed a sequel to *Lies of P*, suggesting that the mysterious cutscene might be linked to *Lies of P 2*. Details about the sequel remain scarce, and Choi remained tight-lipped during our conversation. He emphasized Neowiz's commitment to quality, stating, "What I can certainly tell you is when we share such news or media and assets with you, you'll know for sure that we are ready to present it to you. And that follows very our strict focus on quality [amid] all the pressure that we talked about in the past. So that is the one promise that I can share with you, that when we actually share those contents with you and the news, we will be ready to share that with you."

The cutscene in question, known as the Dorothy scene, has been discussed in detail here. In brief, the scene features Paracelsus on a phone call, mentioning his intent to "find her, for sure. Another key of ours: Dorothy." The scene then reveals the iconic striped socks and ruby slippers of Dorothy from *The Wizard of Oz*, suggesting a connection to other public domain fairy tales in future *Lies of P* narratives. However, Choi confirmed that this plot point will not be explored in *Overture*.

While *Overture* won't address the Dorothy mystery, Choi did provide some hints about what fans can expect from the DLC. He suggested that players should replay the base game to uncover clues scattered throughout the world that hint at the upcoming content. Choi said, "When you play through the base game again, you'll see many hints that we scattered throughout the whole experience. A lot of hints and a lot of windows into the world, and you'll be able to actually see that and experience that in the expansion…There are many things that I actually wanted to accomplish when we were working on the base game. It didn't get put into the base game, and all of that, at least key elements of that are going to be included in the expansion."

Choi also noted that some fans are already close to uncovering Neowiz's intentions, as he regularly reads online fan theories and finds some of them quite accurate. Additionally, Choi shared that the DLC is expected to take experienced players between 15-20 hours to complete. It will be available after reaching a "certain" chapter of the game and accessible until the end. *Overture* is described as a prequel, with the protagonist being transported back in time to Krat just before its fall. The DLC promises new locations, enemies, bosses, characters, and weapons, though Choi was careful not to reveal too much ahead of its release.
