No Man\'s Sky: How to Get Solanium
No Man's Sky's Solanium: Location, Farming, and Crafting Guide
Solanium, a valuable resource in No Man's Sky, is exclusive to planets with specific climates. This guide details how to acquire Solanium through gathering, farming, and crafting.
Finding Solanium:
Locate hot and arid planets. Use your starship scanner to identify planets with descriptions like "Arid," "Incandescent," "Boiling," or "Scorched." These planets will list Solanium as a resource.
Once landed, use your Analysis Visor to locate Solar Vines – tall, rock-like structures with glowing vines. Harvesting requires a Haz-Mat Gauntlet. Phosphorus, also found on these planets, is a key ingredient for crafting Solanium.
Farming Solanium:
After progressing the Farmer's Agricultural Research mission, you can cultivate Solar Vines. Plant them in a Hydroponic Tray or Bio-Dome (using 50 Solanium and 50 Phosphorus) or directly in the ground on a hot planet. Harvest after approximately 16 real-time hours.
Crafting Solanium:
Several Refiner recipes produce Solanium, mostly requiring Phosphorus (obtained from hot planets or traders). Here are the recipes:
- Solanium + Phosphorus (to increase Solanium)
- Phosphorus + Oxygen
- Phosphorus + Sulphurine
- Di-hydrogen + Sulphurine
Note: Most crafting methods necessitate visiting a hot planet to acquire the necessary ingredients. Establishing a Phosphorus farm at your base is recommended to ensure a consistent Sulphurine supply.
