Lies of P: DLC and Sequel Announced!

Director Ji-Won Choi recently unveiled exciting news for fans of the steampunk Soulslike game, Lies of P. In a heartfelt message celebrating the game's anniversary, Choi revealed upcoming DLC and a full sequel are in development.

The DLC, currently under development amidst Korea's summer heat, promises to expand upon the original game's strengths while addressing previously identified issues. Choi expressed gratitude to fans and the development teams (Team NOUGH and ROUND8 Studio) for their continued support.

A sneak peek of the DLC was offered, including concept art depicting P in a snowy location near a lighthouse, hinting at a new, perilous chapter. A previously composed track, "Lisrim" by onoken, was also shared as part of the DLC's soundtrack, featuring a music video reminiscent of the game's style. NEOWIZ owns the rights to both the song and the game, eliminating any copyright concerns.

DLC Release Date:

While a specific release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 earnings report indicates a launch sometime during the second half of 2024. The DLC will be released alongside four other NEOWIZ titles:

• The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy
• Cats & Soup: Malang Town
• Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe
• Project IG

Previously released concept art showcased a towering industrial facility and a dangerous shipwreck as potential locations within the DLC.

Choi assures fans that the DLC is only the beginning, with a full sequel also in the works. While players eagerly await further details, patience is key. The future of Lies of P looks bright, promising thrilling new adventures and a continuation of the captivating story.
