The Three Kingdoms era, a rich tapestry of historical fact and legend, has frequently inspired interactive entertainment. Koei Tecmo, a prolific developer in this space, continues its legacy with Three Kingdoms Heroes. Fans will recognize the series' signature art style and epic storytelling. However, this unique board-battler offers a compelling entry point for newcomers, featuring diverse abilities and strategic maneuvers employed by iconic Three Kingdoms figures.

Launching January 25th, the game's standout feature is the GARYU AI, developed by HEROZ (creators of the champion shogi AI, dlshogi). This AI, reportedly victorious in two consecutive World Shogi Championships, poses a formidable challenge.
