Unlocking Domain Expansion
Jujutsu Infinite offers two Domain types: Incomplete and Full Domain Expansion.
- Incomplete Domain: Unlocked upon completing the story's final section (Level 420). Functions similarly to a Full Domain, but innate abilities lack full area-of-effect (AoE).
- Full Domain Expansion: The culmination of the Mastery path for certain Legendary and Special Grade Cursed Techniques. Located in the Innate Skills menu (Mastery path, far right). Requires a Domain Shard and Mastery Level 250 in the specific Innate Technique.
Acquiring Domain Shards
Domain Shards are rare and valuable. Acquisition methods include:
- Curse Market NPC: This vendor refreshes periodically, sometimes offering Domain Shards for Demon Fingers and Jade Lotuses.
- Chests: A low-probability loot drop from chests. Luck-boosting consumables are recommended.
- Trading: Players can trade Domain Shards amongst themselves.
- World Loot: Shards may spawn on the map, but the Item Notifier gamepass (2,699 Robux) significantly aids in locating them.
Utilizing Domain Expansion
Domain Expansion is your ultimate ability.
- Equip: Select it via the Skills menu.
- Fill the Meter: Damage enemies to fill the Domain Meter.
- Activate: Press the assigned hotkey.
Within your Domain, innate skills gain full AoE, become undodgeable, and offensive/defensive stats increase by 50%. Incomplete Domains only receive the stat boost.
Domain Clashing
Simultaneous Domain Expansions trigger a minigame.
- Minigame: Press LMB (M1) when the red line aligns within the blue sections of the meter.
- Outcome: The victor expands their Domain, depleting the loser's Domain Meter.
Defending Against Domain Expansion
Several defensive options exist:
- Simple Domain (Technique Tree, 20 SP): Creates a small area within an enemy's Domain, negating its effects.
- Hollow Wicker Basket (Unlockable Technique): Negates enemy Domain effects but prevents using innate techniques.
- Heavenly Restriction (Gamepass, 1699 Robux): Negates most sure-hit effects within a Domain.
