GTA San Andreas Remastered: 51 Mods Transform Classic Game

The enduring popularity of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has inspired fans to take matters into their own hands, crafting their own modernized versions of this classic game. Among these, Shapatar XT's ambitious project stands out, featuring a comprehensive remaster with an impressive 51 modifications.

Shapatar XT didn't stop at just enhancing the graphics. A well-known issue in the original game, the sudden appearance of flying trees, has been addressed. The map loading has been optimized so players can now see obstacles like vegetation in advance, which greatly improves the gaming experience. The vegetation itself has also been upgraded to look more realistic.

To make the game world feel more vibrant and immersive, various mods have been integrated. The environment now includes scattered "garbage," and NPCs engage in more realistic activities such as fixing cars on the street. At the airport, players can witness airplanes taking off, and various signs, graffiti, and inscriptions have been enhanced for better visual quality.

Combat mechanics have seen significant upgrades as well. A new "over-the-shoulder" shooting camera has been added, along with realistic recoil and revamped weapon sounds. Bullet impacts now leave visible holes, adding to the game's realism. CJ's arsenal has been updated with new models, and players can now shoot in all directions while driving, enhancing the dynamic nature of vehicle combat.

For those who prefer a more immersive experience, a first-person view option has been included. This mode allows players to see the steering wheel of vehicles, and CJ now holds weapons more naturally when firing.

Shapatar XT has also introduced a mod-pack of cars, featuring detailed models such as the Toyota Supra. These cars come with working headlights, reverse lights, and animated engines, adding to the realism of the driving experience.

Additional quality-of-life improvements include streamlined in-game shopping. The tedious process of selecting and trying on outfits has been replaced with a quicker "on-the-fly" system, allowing players to instantly change and choose their preferred looks. CJ himself has been given an updated model, ensuring he looks his best in this modernized version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
