Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest nears its end, unveiling lore speculated since the game's beginning and evolving combat mechanics. Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire presents a formidable challenge. This massive, dual-sword-wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its appearance amplified by the Abyss's influence. Similar to Inazuma's Riftwolves, it inflicts a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While challenging, victory is attainable. Here's a detailed guide to defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Locate the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire within the Stone Stele Records domain, south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. It's situated inside a shrine commemorating Natlan's fallen. Upon entering, you can claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the week's first three bosses.

Completing the Archon Quest's final chapter, "When All Becomes A Monument," unlocks this boss and allows free domain entry. Alternatively, utilize the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer's Handbook.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Success hinges heavily on Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. While the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire remains relatively stationary, it summons three pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, easier to defeat with Nightsoul Blessing characters.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While other characters can destroy the pillars, Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina significantly reduce the time required. This is crucial to counter the Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars immobilizes the dragon for about 10 seconds, allowing for concentrated damage.

However, pillar destruction speed varies depending on the Natlan character used. During the meteor animation, equip a shield and switch to a healer. Consistent healing is vital to survive the corrosion effect, which penetrates shields and deals substantial damage. Without a shield, a one-shot kill is possible. Healers like Furina and Kokomi are highly effective; Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett are viable alternatives.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging the dragon's unpredictable attacks is challenging, especially during its smoke-based movement phase. Attacks include sword slashes and smashes that significantly reduce the battlefield's size, hindering navigation and dodging.

When the battlefield is reduced, stay close to the dragon and attack from underneath. However, be cautious; characters need constant healing due to the Eroded Dragon Breath's corrosion effect. This attack involves impaling both swords, inflicting Pyro and Erosion DMG. Shielding and healing are crucial. If overwhelmed, retreat and wait for the attack to end by staying near its hands, as the Dragon Breath doesn't reach that area. The dragon also uses sword slashes; heal immediately after being hit to counter the Erosion effect.

A healer is indispensable for victory.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Regardless of owning Natlan characters, Co-Op Mode provides assistance. Extra players with Nightsoul Blessing characters significantly aid during the pillar phase. Use the "Match" button upon entering the domain to team up for easier combat.

Unlike previous Weekly Bosses, this fight lacks multiple phases but requires considerable time.
