Extracting Items in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

In the thrilling cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.*, your mission is clear but challenging: retrieve valuable items and make it out alive amidst a horde of randomly spawning monsters. Succeed, and not only will you escape with your loot, but you'll also earn cash to bolster your survival gear, all under the watchful eye of the menacing AI Taxman.

To secure your haul, you must navigate to the Extraction Point where your treasures are tallied, and the Taxman decides your next move. If you're lucky, you'll reach the Service Station with plenty of cash to spend, enhancing your chances of survival in future endeavors.

As you delve deeper into *R.E.P.O.*, mastering the extraction process becomes second nature. What initially feels overwhelming will soon become routine as you overcome increasingly difficult levels and monstrous adversaries.

How to Extract in R.E.P.O.

In your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter just one Extraction Point. However, as you advance to new locations, the number of Extraction Points can grow, peaking at four. Keep an eye on the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen to track how many drop-offs you need and how many you've already completed.

Your first Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck, a constant starting point for your first haul. Subsequent extractions, however, require more strategy.

After your initial drop-off, continue exploring the level as usual, but without knowing the Taxman's demands or the next drop-off location. This is where your in-game map becomes invaluable. By pressing "Tab," you can view unexplored areas, helping you plan your routes and, if playing with others, coordinate to cover more ground simultaneously.

The next Extraction Point's location will only become clear once you're in its vicinity, signaled either visually or audibly. Upon finding it, press the prominent red button to reveal your fate and whether you've gathered enough valuables. If you have, place your C.A.R.T within the designated grey area to ensure none of your items are destroyed.

Depending on the number of Extraction Points required, you'll either move on to the next one or make your way back to the truck. Remember, after the final point is located and your valuables are counted, you don't need to take the C.A.R.T back to the truck; a new one will await you at the next level.
