Levelling Up – Every champion in DC: Dark Legion, no matter their rarity, can be leveled up to boost their base stats, including Attack, Defense, and Health. You can level up your champions by taking them into battles where they earn experience points. Alternatively, you can use EXP potions of different rarities for a direct level boost. Levelling up not only enhances your champion's power but also increases your overall account CP (Combat Power), making your team stronger and more effective.

Upgrading Star Count – Champions in DC: Dark Legion™ come with a base star count that determines their rarity. For instance, legendary champions start at 5-stars. You can increase this star count by using shards of the same champion, which requires some luck as you'll need duplicate copies. While this can be a costly endeavor, especially for free-to-play players, it's a valuable way to unlock new abilities and significantly upgrade your hero's stats.

Gearing Up – Beyond leveling up, equipping your heroes with powerful gear is crucial to enhancing their performance. In the early stages, you can acquire gear by clearing hideouts. Once you unlock the crafting feature at your base, you can start creating your own gear. Gear pieces and sets vary in rarity, and each piece can have a main stat along with multiple sub-stats, depending on its rarity. Higher rarity gear starts with more sub-stats, providing a greater boost to your champions' abilities.
