In a statement to Eurogamer, the developer confirmed their independent publishing plans, previously announced during a public earnings call. While acknowledging ongoing discussions and collaborations with various partners, they emphasized their commitment to self-publishing.

A public demonstration of Crimson Desert is planned for November. Pearl Abyss stated, "We haven't announced a release date, so any articles on this are purely speculative. We're excited to show a playable build to media this week in Paris and to the public at G-Star in November."

The final platform lineup and release date for Crimson Desert are yet to be confirmed. A PC, PlayStation, and Xbox release is anticipated around Q2 2025.
