Unlocking Artian Weapon Crafting:

First, complete the main story to reach High Rank. Then, defeat your first Tempered monster (you'll recognize it by the NPCs' reactions). Afterward, speak with Gemma; she'll initiate the Artian weapon crafting tutorial.

Crafting Mechanics:

Each weapon type requires three components. These components must share the same rarity level to be combined. The weapon's elemental effect is determined by the most prevalent element among the components. For example, two water and one lightning component will result in a water weapon. Using three different elements will negate any elemental infusion.

Artian components also possess an Artian bonus, offering either an attack boost or affinity boost (critical hit chance). Choose the bonus that best suits your playstyle.

Obtaining Artian Materials:

Artian materials are obtained by hunting Tempered monsters in High Rank. These monsters are indicated on the map by a blue outline. After defeating or capturing a Tempered monster, you'll receive Artian parts among your post-mission rewards. The rarity of these parts increases with your hunter rank. While there's no direct correlation between the hunted monster and the type of Artian parts dropped, hunt monsters you enjoy or need materials from for other equipment.
