Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for the next Arknights: Endfield beta test, launching mid-January 2025! This new phase builds upon previous iterations, bringing significant improvements and exciting additions. As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25th, 2024, the beta will feature expanded gameplay and a larger roster of playable characters.

Key Improvements and New Content:

• Expanded Character Roster: Fifteen playable characters, including two Endministrators, will be available, boasting updated models, animations, and special effects.
• Enhanced Combat System: Expect refined combat mechanics based on player feedback, including new combo skills and a dodge mechanic. Item usage and character progression have also been adjusted for a more rewarding experience.
• Revamped Base Building: The base building system receives a significant overhaul with new mechanics, tutorial levels, defensive structures, and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts.
• Story and Map Expansion: Experience a reworked storyline, new maps, and engaging puzzles.
• Language Options: Choose between Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Beta Test Sign-Up:

Registration opened on December 14th, 2024. While the application deadline and beta test start date remain unannounced, selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1:

Alongside the beta test announcement, HYPERGRYPH launched the Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1. This program offers selected creators access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events.

Two content categories are available: Gameplay Insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and Fan Creations (memes, fanart, cosplays, etc.). While requirements differ slightly, both categories demand original content and require applicants to submit links to their past work. Note that meeting the requirements doesn't guarantee acceptance.

The application period ran from December 15th to December 29th, 2024.
