Arcane skins are unlikely to return to Fortnite

Fortnite's cosmetic items are highly sought after, with players eager to showcase their favorite skins. Epic Games rotates existing skins in and out of the in-game store, often resulting in lengthy wait times. While some skins, like Master Chief (after a two-year absence) and even the older Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper, have eventually reappeared, the future of Arcane's Jinx and Vi skins remains uncertain.

The return of Jinx and Vi is a highly requested feature among Fortnite players, especially after the second season of Arcane. However, Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill recently cast doubt on their return during a livestream. While acknowledging the decision rests with Riot, he noted the initial collaboration was limited to the first season of Arcane. Following online disappointment, Merrill offered a glimmer of hope, stating he would discuss the possibility internally, but offered no guarantees.

The likelihood of these skins returning seems low. While Riot would undoubtedly profit from their re-release, the potential for players switching from League of Legends to Fortnite due to the skins is likely a major concern. With League of Legends facing challenges, diverting players to a competitor is an undesirable outcome.

While future circumstances might change, it's advisable to temper expectations regarding the return of Jinx and Vi skins to Fortnite.
