It's hard to believe it's been nearly a year since Alan Wake 2's release! Remedy Entertainment expresses its sincere thanks to the players and the community for their continued support. Tomorrow's free Anniversary Update is a testament to that appreciation.

This major update, released concurrently with The Lake House expansion, significantly enhances accessibility. New options include infinite ammo and one-hit kills, alongside inverted horizontal axis controls and improved DualSense functionality on PS5 (haptic feedback for healing and throwables).

The update also incorporates numerous quality-of-life (QoL) improvements based on player feedback. Remedy has been actively listening to the community, incorporating suggestions into both the expansions and this comprehensive update. The "Anniversary Update" title reflects the timing of its release, coinciding with the game's launch anniversary.
