AI Extinguished in Virtual La Brea Hunt

Hunting AI animals in Ecos La Brea can be challenging, even more so than pursuing player-controlled characters. Mastering stealth is key. Here's how to successfully track and capture AI prey:

Stealth is Paramount: Your primary tool is your sense of smell. Activate the scent button to reveal nearby AI animals as icons. A meter, visible while crouching, gauges the animal's alertness. Movement increases the meter; a full meter triggers the AI's escape.

Movement and Direction: Your approach significantly impacts the animal's awareness. Sprinting fills the meter instantly, running significantly impacts it, trotting less so, and walking is the least disruptive. Approach from upwind for optimal stealth; downwind will quickly alert the AI.

Reading the AI: A question mark occasionally appears above the animal icon. If the question mark is visible, any movement will drastically increase the meter. Remain still until it disappears.

The Chase: The meter will fill before you reach the AI. Be ready to sprint – the AI is fast, but sprinting allows you to keep pace. Their movement is unpredictable, so practice in open areas with minimal obstacles for better tracking.

Capture and Consumption: Get extremely close to the AI to initiate a bite. Once captured, drop and consume your prey. Repeat the process until satiated.
