In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful
With the rapid advancement of technology—now an essential part of daily life—it has become imperative for holders of knowledge and scholarship to embrace modernity and cultural globalization. This progress offers a vital opportunity to preserve our rich scientific heritage and make it more accessible to a wider audience, ensuring its continued relevance and reach.
At the Heritage Revival Center of al-Abbas's alternatives, we recognize the importance of this mission. This center stands as a leading authority in its field, yet, despite its immense value, its vast intellectual legacy has not received the comprehensive publication and preservation it truly deserves. Although there have been commendable individual efforts to edit and publish select volumes over the centuries, much of the work remains unverified and prone to typographical errors.
To address this, we have developed an electronic application designed to serve scholars, researchers, and all those passionate about Islamic heritage. This application acts as a dynamic knowledge interface, enabling users to efficiently explore the scholars of the true sect and understand the conditions of its prominent figures—saving time and enhancing accuracy in research.
The application includes the complete book in three distinct formats:
- Text Format – Carefully aligned with the original publication for consistency and ease of reference.
- Digital Scan – A high-quality digital version of the printed book, preserving the original layout and pagination.
- Manuscript Version – A unique and invaluable feature: the original handwritten manuscript by the author, may God have mercy on him. This allows specialists to verify potential textual discrepancies and identify possible printing errors, especially important given that many volumes were published without thorough verification.
Despite its simplicity, this application offers several powerful features tailored to support in-depth research:
- Ability to read each of the three versions independently.
- Full-text search across the entire encyclopedia or within specific sections, including both basic and advanced search options.
- Option to copy or share selected text easily.
- Capability to print pages in any of the three formats with high clarity.
- Dual-window browsing: view the text and printed version side by side, with independent zoom controls and synchronized page navigation.
- Comprehensive indexes of narrators’ names—both per volume and across the entire encyclopedia—with full search functionality.
- Bookmark any page in any of the three formats for quick future access.
- Add personal notes or comments to any page, preserved across all formats.
As we present this application to our esteemed users, we extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed to this endeavor. Special recognition goes to the eminent scholar of his time, Sheikh Agha Buzurk al-Tharani, may God have mercy on him, whose meticulous work in typesetting, editing, and publishing the original text laid the foundation for this project. We also thank those who preserved and shared the written copies, making them available to researchers—fulfilling the zakat of knowledge—and to our dedicated team who worked tirelessly to bring this application to life. May God reward them all with the best of rewards for their efforts in serving Islamic scholarship.
