Wuthering Waves Unveils Version 2.0 with Rinascita Expansion

Wuthering Waves' highly anticipated 2.0 update has arrived, introducing a massive expansion of content. Explore the new Rinascita region, a land of city-states brimming with culture and mystery, deeply intertwined with Echoes. This update includes new quests, characters, bosses, and gameplay mechanics. The game is also now available on PS5!

Rinascita, the Land of Echoes, is the star of this update. From Ragunna to the Nimbus Sanctum and Thessaleo Fells, each area offers a unique atmosphere and exciting opportunities for exploration.

Two new playable characters, Carlotta and Roccia, join the fight. Carlotta, a 5-Star Glacio Resonator, uses dual pistols and a gem-themed aesthetic in elegant, powerful combat. Her Resonance Ability unleashes crystallized energy for devastating Glacio damage.

Roccia, a member of the Fool’s Troupe, brings theatrical flair to battle, summoning tornadoes to control the battlefield. Her stage partner, Chest Mimic – Pero, is always at her side, adding to their chaotic combat style. Roccia's Resonance Ability gathers enemies, setting up powerful attacks.

Customization options have expanded with new character skins, including Jinhsi's peach blossom outfit and Sanhua's exorcistic adjuration. New boss encounters await, featuring the formidable Dragon of Dirge and redesigned Nightmare Echoes with challenging new mechanics.
