Video: Evelyn Gameplay, the new stripping heroine from Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero welcomes a fiery new heroine: Evelyn Chevalier! Generating excitement even before official release, Evelyn's unique battle style—she dramatically sheds her cape during combat, using it as a weapon—has already captivated players.

This S-rank Fire-element Assault character joins Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi in the second banner of the highly anticipated Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 update.

The 1.5 update is now live, and miHoYo (HoYoverse) is showing their appreciation with the customary Polychrome compensation. Players will receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. This compensation will be delivered via in-game mail.

Evelyn's gameplay centers around focused targeting. Her basic attacks draw enemies in, creating extended attack chains. During multi-stage or special attacks, she binds her primary target with "Forbidden Bounds," maximizing damage output. Her skills generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling powerful fire-based abilities that inflict significant damage. As seen in leaks, her dynamic cape-removal combat flourish adds a visually striking element to her attacks.
